Simulation study on air exchange volume between tunnel and platform of bailout door subway stations

For bailout door subway stations, the unorganized air flow from the tunnel to the platform has an important impact on the operation energy consumption of the ventilation and air conditioning system of the subway station. Based on STESS software, this paper conducts a simulation study on the air exchange volume between the tunnel and the platform of the subway station with the bailout door system. The influence of factors such as the length of the tunnel, the train departure density, the arrival time interval between two-way trains, etc. on the air exchange volume between the tunnel and the platform of the subway station with the bailout door system is analysed, respectively. According to the simulation results, the estimation formula of the air exchange volume between the tunnel and the platform is given, which can be used for the calculation of the ventilation and air conditioning load of the subway and the analysis of the operation energy consumption.
